This super rare 14.5cm millinery petersham ribbon is a spectacular find! It's potentially very very old - thought to have originated in the time of stove pipe hats to trim the crown. It has a lovely thickness to it and really is a museum piece!

Made specifically for hat making with the signature picot edge that allows for curving with an iron. 

Fibre content is unknown but is most likely a rayon blend as characteristic of petersham of it's time.

Sold by the metre (1.09 yards). Multiple metres purchased will arrive as one long, lovely, continuous piece.
